Kre-Celazine® (US Patent 6,399,661)
Kre-Celazine® contains a patented fatty acid and creatine complex. A case study and a published double-blind placebo controlled trial shows this patented formula’s efficacy in reducing inflammation, pain, swelling, stiffness, etc. in various joints. DMG HCl (US Patent 5,026,728) (US Patent 7,229,646 B2) Dimethylglycine HCl modulates cytokine production and acts as an anti-oxidant as well as an anti-inflammatory agent. This remarkable supplement has two US Patents for the treatment of inflammatory disease and modulating immune response and for the treatment of arthritis and inflammation. Other uses for DMG include enhancement of athletic performance by improving oxygen utilization and targeting cancer by promoting apoptosis and preventing metastasis. An important function of DMG is as a methyl donor.
Turmeric
Better known as a cooking spice, turmeric is also an anti-inflammatory and an anti-oxidant. Turmeric inhibits the formation of pro-inflammatory mediators thromboxane and prostaglandin.
Boswellia serrata
This Ayurvedic herb is useful in inflammatory conditions like arthritis, asthma, and colitis. The mechanism of action by which Boswellia improves arthritis is speculated to be improved blood supply to the joints and the prevention of connective tissue breakdown.
Quercetin, Rutin, and Luteolin
